Budvid

For tradespeople and crews

A renovation estimate at your own rates — from the flat’s plan

Set your prices once — an estimate by room and by stage is counted from the plan in minutes

Budvid takes the areas and quantities from the flat’s plan, multiplies them by your rates and lays out the estimate: by room, by stage, with totals for works and materials. The client gets a link to a page with your name and phone, the plan, the 3D “how it will be” and the estimate — or a PDF.

What changes for a tradesperson

No evening with a calculator

Areas and quantities come from the flat’s plan. Your rates fill in by themselves — all that is left is to check and send.

Only your prices

Budvid puts in no prices of its own and no “averages”. The estimate holds only your rates and the material prices you typed in yourself.

The client sees what they pay for

The plan, the 3D “how it will be” and the estimate by stage — with a total for every stage. The client understands what the job includes and can pay stage by stage.

My rates

A price per m², running metre or piece — for every kind of work

Type them in once, and every next estimate is counted at them. Your prices changed? Edit the rate, and new estimates follow it.

Estimate

An estimate from the flat’s plan: rooms, stages, totals

Quantities from the plan, prices from you. The estimate is laid out by room and by renovation stage, and every stage has its own total.

Quantities from the plan

The rooms’ net areas and the counts — from the flat’s plan, not from memory.

A total per stage

Demolition, electrics & plumbing, screed, plaster, tiles, putty & paint, floor, doors, finishing — each stage has its own total. The client can pay stage by stage.

Three totals

Works, materials and the grand total, apart — the client sees what your labour costs and what the materials do.

Edit as you need

Switch a line off, change a quantity, add a line of your own — say, “rubbish removal”. The totals are recounted at once.

Materials with waste

How much to buy, Budvid counts with an allowance for waste. The material prices are the ones you type in.

No rate — no sum

A job you have no rate for is listed as “no rate” and is not in any total. No figures are made up for you.

Every estimate says: “Quantities are counted from the plan; the final estimate comes after measuring.” The estimate is approximate until you have measured the flat on site.

For the client

The estimate page and a PDF

Every estimate is a page of its own at budvid.com/k/… You send the link to the client in a messenger, and they save the PDF themselves.

  • Your name and phone — as you typed them in.
  • The flat’s plan and the 3D “how it will be” — the design project the estimate was counted for.
  • The estimate by stage and by room — with totals for works, materials and the grand total.
  • “Call” and “Message on Telegram” — the client reaches you in one tap.
  • An A4 PDF — the client or you save it straight from the page.

The link lives 90 days, and the page is not indexed by search engines — it is seen by whoever you sent it to. As many estimates as you like; up to 100 live estimate pages at once on the plan.

Scenario A

The tradesperson on their own

  1. Rates — onceType in your prices per m², metre and piece — from then on they fill every estimate.
  2. The flatOpen the flat: from the client’s link, from your own drawing or from an agency’s presentation.
  3. Estimate — to the clientIn a few minutes the estimate is ready — send the client the link to its page or the PDF.

Where the flat comes from

The client’s link

The client made a design project of their flat on Budvid and sent you the link — the flat comes with its plan and their choices. That is scenario B below.

Your own drawing

A photo or scan of the plan goes into Budvid’s tracer: outline it by hand or automatically.

An agency’s presentation

A flat from an agency’s published presentation on Budvid — the plan is already there.

Scenario B

Client → tradesperson

The client shows the renovation they want — all that is left for you is to price it.

  1. A design project — freeA person makes a design project of their flat on Budvid: what stays, what is refreshed, what is new, and in which style.
  2. “Send to a tradesperson”They press the button and get a short link — it lives 90 days.
  3. You open the linkYou see the flat and what the client wants changed.
  4. An estimate at your ratesYour rates fill in by themselves — you send the client back the link to the estimate page.

The client’s link holds only the flat’s shape and the choices in the design project: no names, no phones, no addresses.

No plan yet? You still see the project — and an offer: “price it at your own rates — test drive ₴49”.

Crew

On your own or as a crew

A crew of up to 5 people

The foreman and the tradespeople in one cabinet. Each signs in with their own Telegram through a one-time invite link and makes estimates at the crew’s rates. Only the foreman changes the rates, the plan, the payment and the team.

On your own

Working alone? No need to set up a team: everything is the same, just without invites.

The money between you and the client stays yours

Questions

Where do the quantities in the estimate come from?

From the flat’s plan: the rooms’ net areas and the counts. You multiply them by your own rates. Any quantity can be changed, any line switched off, and you can add lines of your own.

Do you put in prices of your own?

No. Budvid never puts in its own or “average market” prices anywhere — only your rates and the material prices you typed in. A job you have no rate for is listed as “no rate” and is not in any total.

What if the plan is not accurate?

The estimate is approximate, and every one says so: “Quantities are counted from the plan; the final estimate comes after measuring.” Once you have measured on site, you edit the quantities and the totals are recounted.

Does the client pay me through Budvid?

No. Budvid takes no money between the client and the tradesperson — you settle up between yourselves. Each pays only for their own Budvid plan, and the client’s design project of the flat is free.

Can my crew work in one cabinet?

Yes, up to 5 people including the foreman. Each signs in with their own Telegram through a one-time invite link and makes estimates at the crew’s rates. Only the foreman changes the rates, the plan, the payment and the team.

What does the client see?

The estimate page: your name and phone, the flat’s plan, the 3D “how it will be”, the estimate by stage and by room, and the buttons “Call” and “Message on Telegram”. The client saves an A4 PDF straight from the page.

How long does the link live?

90 days. The estimate page is not indexed by search engines — it is seen by whoever you sent the link to.
